Expanded Mesh Façade

The form of this museum is in response to the low, flat topography of Saskatchewan’s prairie landscape with AMICO’s expanded mesh covers walkways and windows, including much of the south-facing elevation that receives continuous daylight, reducing glare and helping ensure a pleasant visitor experience. The mesh’s surface is also responsible for carrying the significant custom copper color inspired by Saskatoon’s historic architectural landmark, the Bessborough Hotel.
