Expanded Mesh Interior and Exterior Cladding

This project design began with the goal of exploring how people can activate a building and surrounding space. A key element to this solution included a large canopy that extended from the outside to the inside foyer, with AMICO’s APEX01 expanded mesh framing the vertical surfaces. The mesh serves as a shading device for the fly tower and stage house, reducing solar heat gain during the summer months. Inside, the same mesh is used as a wall covering and a curtain-like screen along the main foyer, creating a seamless visual connection between the interior and exterior.
