Layered Expanded Mesh Signage
Architects typically specify expanded mesh for its texture, and this design element can play into your signage design and act as a point of contrast. This sign for River of Life Church takes this negative space approach and blends the facade with the branding element.
A second way to use expanded mesh in graphic communications is to layer mesh panels on top of each other, where a base layer is one color and the top layer is a different (contrasting) color. This construction method provides the ability to seamlessly transition from a facade into a message or even just a design element in the facade with a color transition.
