Perforated Metal Façade

The Caltrans office building is a remarkable project designed by Morphosis, which utilized perforated panels in a unique way. The designer opted to use rows of perforated panels with varying opacities to create a visually engaging and variegated surface. This approach allowed the facade to have a distinctive and customized appearance while simultaneously keeping costs low by avoiding the need to manufacture custom panels on a turret press.
