Plank Grating Facade

During the renovation of the ITHQ building, an innovative double-skin application was implemented using AMICO’s plank grating. Each of the four tower elevations features a unique design variation. All these variations serve the single purpose of capturing and preheating the air that is brought into the building. This preheating of the air significantly improves the thermal resistance of the building and enables natural ventilation throughout the year with operable windows.
