Expanded Mesh Ceiling

Located within Jack Casino in Detroit, the Monroe Market was conceptualized as a curated collection of food experiences in a lively streetscape where each culinary vignette has its unique personality. Throughout the space, the AMICO expanded mesh ceiling ties the vibrant and contrasting areas together with a subtle but striking design where the expanded mesh is rotated 90 degrees from panel to panel to provide an ever-changing texture and transparency to the ceiling panel that makes for an excellent finishing detail that ensures every corner feels designed but does not compete with the distinct design of each restaurant. The expanded mesh is also brought down from the ceiling in some areas to act as a vertical surface to accentuate structural columns and signage.
