SHoP Architects took inspiration from the 19th century tradition of two-story piers. The elevated second level, a vibrant focal point for visitors and the surrounding neighborhood, is lined with a custom AMICO expanded mesh railing infill. This unique design, with its thin strands and high transparency, not only adds a modern touch but also restores views of the waterfront that have not been seen for generations.
