626 1st Avenue NYC Rooftop Screen
This installation was a simple rooftop screen using AMICO’s APEX03 Expanded Mesh. While these areas of a structure are often not a focal point of a design, in this instance, it is a highly noticeable peak of an iconic New York City skyscraper. The mesh brings some necessary texture to the design and helps the mechanical enclosure to appear more thought out while bringing visual interest.
Bally’s outdoor shopping mall had the challenge of concealing unsightly rooftops from surrounding high-end hotel vistas. The solution was to incorporate perforated metal that could seemless transition into the architectural sunshade as well. The brillian backlighting design turned the utilitarian feature into a focal point of teh design.
